Inked up

Dave and I (longtime friend for 15 yrs.) hung out in San Jose, CA. today and checked out a few places. As always, when I'm down in the San Jose area we always make it a habit, or should I say commitment to eat over at one of my favorite Korean restaurants located on the popular strip of El Camino called 'Korea House.' No stranger to the excellent food that the Korean's have been preparing and consuming for ages, Dave and I devoured the various mini dishes (Banchan) as well as the Galbi (Korean short ribs) that was put in front of us in record breaking time. Thereafter, we then moved along to visit one of his recommended embroiderers hoping to do a few small jobs for BnF. Shortly after, we then took a drive to the Southside of San Jose to finally end up over at Braveheart tattoo studio -- which has been recently renamed to 'Salvation Tattoo.' Previously owned and managed by a young Vietnamese fellow by the name of 'Khuong Nguyen', the new shop has been taken over and re-vamped by another talented tattoo artist by the name of 'An' (pronounced On). These artistic and adept Asian cats have been tattooing and putting it down for years. Just ask Dave who recently just got inked up by 'An' himself. Not to mention, a few more sessions in the near future are in line to complete and honor his Asian/Vietnamese heritage by means of body art. Stay tuned for those pics sometime soon. Check out the shop if you're ever in the San Jose area. But, just make sure you don't touch the stripper pole because you might just have to perform a session.

Just another day in the office for, An.

Another Asian piece applied to Dave (90% completed) by An.

Dave's piece continued to fill the left chest plate. Right side will be initiated soon by Khuong
