THE SLANTS

Our partner Simon from the Asian rock/electro/punk music group, The Slants just sent over this awesome pic of him playing bass at the SXSW music festival that was just held in Austin, TX that crammed over 3,000 bands across the 5 day period. Known for their entertaining and raw sounds similar to that of world renown 'Depeche Mode,' these dudes (Simon, Aron, Gaijin, Johnny, and Tyler) based out of Portland, OR have been been touring the U.S for quite some time now. Talk about hard work, since their inception (2006) the group has jumped around from venue-to-venue across the country 5 times already.
